Step-by-Step Guide
Follow these steps to create a deep link and generate a QR code for your Link Collection:
- Copy the Link Collection Address:
- Locate and copy the full URL for your desired Link Collection.

- Create a New Deep Link:
- In the URLgenius platform, create a new link.
- For the initial address, use a dummy or placeholder website URL (e.g., a generic domain you own or a temporary URL - Example: collection246.com).
- Set the Default URL:
- In the settings for your new deep link, change the Default URL to the Link Collection Address you copied in Step 1.
- Remove App Schemes (if necessary):
- On the Routing page for your new link, ensure no existing App Schemes were automatically populated. If they were, remove them (this is typically the top option on the Routing page).
- Verify Routing and Fallback:
- Confirm that the routing for each device type is configured to use the Web Fallback option.
- Verify that the URL set for the web fallback is your Link Collection Address.
- Test the QR Code:
- Generate the QR code for this new deep link.
- Scan the QR code with various mobile devices (both iOS and Android) to ensure it correctly and consistently routes users directly to your intended Link Collection page.
