[Analytics](https://go.urlgenius.com/analytics?hsLang=en) # Understanding Your Audience Insights Dashboard ## A walkthrough of every chart and metric on the Insights page, and what each one tells you. The **Insights** page gives you a full picture of how your links are performing, who's clicking, where they're coming from, and what device or app they end up on. Here's how to find it and what each section means. **To get there:** click **My Account** in the top right, then select **Insights**. ![kb-insights-overview-and-metrics](https://go.urlgenius.com/hs-fs/hubfs/KB%20-%20Audience%20Insights%20Screenshots/kb-insights-overview-and-metrics.png?width=670&height=246&name=kb-insights-overview-and-metrics.png) **Filtering your data** At the top of the page, you can narrow what you're looking at: - **Date Range** — set a custom start and end date, or use the quick buttons: **Today**, **Past Week**, or **Past Month**. Note: Insights goes back 3 months - **Tag Filter** — filter results down to links with a specific tag, if you use tags to organize your links. The **Total Links Created in Date Range** counter (top right) updates based on whichever filters you've set. **Top-line metrics** Three summary numbers sit right below the filters: - **Unique Clicks** — the total number of individual people who clicked your links (shown with clicks-per-visitor as a ratio). - **Unique Visitors** — the total number of distinct people who visited, with visitors-per-link shown alongside it. - **Active Links** — how many of your links received activity in the selected date range. *Note: these will show 0 until your links have actually been clicked within the selected date range — that's expected for a new account or an empty date range, not an error.* **Audience Engagement** ![kb-insights-audience-engagement](https://go.urlgenius.com/hs-fs/hubfs/KB%20-%20Audience%20Insights%20Screenshots/kb-insights-audience-engagement.png?width=670&height=246&name=kb-insights-audience-engagement.png) This chart shows your clicks and visitors over time.
